I really thought that this was going to be more of a thriller than it was. Not to say that there wasn't interesting moments or that it wasn't an interesting idea, it just wasn't all that I had expected from it. I especially didn't like that you could see every plot twist before it even happened, because every time it was the same plot twist. It was really spelled out for us what was really going on through the character's point of view, but they couldn't catch on. Very frustrating to have the same experience of yelling at a TV to make sure that the protagonist doesn't wonder into the trap we know is set for them. I'd just personally rather not know and be surprised along with our characters.
That put aside, I did like both of our protagonists and that they had their reasons for what they did wrong. One almost seemed like a typical YA novel villain written from her own point of view because it's the stereotypical popular rude girl at school, until you see that there's more to it than just looking like a bad person.
I don't think I'd ever read it again, but I might recommend it to someone who didn't have the same expectations that I did when I started.
