I am certain that this will be a loved book this year. It was a really good look at systematic racism and the micro(and macro) aggressions black teenagers face.

This book had great plot twists! I was expecting very few of them, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The prose was amazing, and I feel like the dual perspectives worked very well for it. Each of the characters was fully fleshed out, and the side romances were adorable.

Overall, I would recommend this to fans of thrillers, and even horror.
