This book was so incredibly good that I finished it in a couple of hours. I loved the representation in this book. And I love how the story focused on each characters different individual identities while tying them into the main problem of the book.
I absolutely loved the author’s writing style and her development of Devon and Chiamaka. Both had their faults but they made their characters better and helped me understand and relate with them.
In most books like this I can usually guess who the Aces of that story is or at least have suspicions toward that character. Yet the author made this book into an unforgettable one by making it completely unexpected. The slow step by step reveal was so enjoyable.
The themes the author tackled in this book were not only beautifully written they were well presented. They fit into the story.
