I'm excited to come across a book like this. I really hope to see the depths that are no doubt a part of this story that we don't get to quite come across fully in the sneak peek. This looks like the perfect place to talk about institutional racism maybe? But even if it doesn't (really not the book's job), I like the setting and overall mood/tone I feel from the book.
