As a middle school English teacher, I am always looking for YA books to recommend to my students. This one hooked me right away! Private school drama, competition, a mystery element? Sign me up! I appreciated the duel narrative style and the distinction in Devon and Chiamaka's voices. In the first few chapters, I preferred Chiamaka's storytelling.
