Super excited to read the rest of this in the future

At first I thought the two main characters were going to end up together, because cliches, but honestly I love the dynamic and stories behind the characters so far. Based on the synopsis I figured this book would be similar to Pretty Little Liars, and it seems like I’m right as far as I can tell with what I’ve read so far. I love how they made Devon gay and closeted just for the last paragraph of the first impression to fully out him. Also the way Faridah Abike-lyimide made Chiamaka into a popular straight preppy girl who’s attracted to her guy best friend shows some really good juxtaposition between the two.
