I am intrigued! The cover and title initially made me think of the "life is a game of cards" metaphor. And I can automatically see that the two main characters are "dealt a different hand of cards": Devon, an unpopular scholarship (and perhaps closeted gay) student, and Chiamaka, a rich straight-A student with too many extracurriculars. I'm very curious about how the two characters' lives will intertwine and how the social commentary will appear throughout the plot.
