Hmmm interesting beginning to a story that is sure to keep me hooked. We start with Devon, who as it seems is a big of a loner although its not clear if its by choice or just the way things played out for him. He is back in school and the first weird thing is that there is a new headmaster and he is also named as one of the Senior Prefects. Prefects are popular, well liked and well known. Pretty much everything Devon isn't. The next chapter is from Chiamaka's POV. She's popular, pretty and Head Prefect. So this is leading me to wonder, will there be an unlikely friendship forming between these two? One of those "People aren't what they seem" themes? Or is there more at play here. It already seems to be shaping up to be strange year..at least for Devon.
