I find myself often disappointed by thrillers because they generally seem to have a predominantly white main cast with the few POC/LGBT folks being there more for tokenism. Seeing a thriller actually focus on two black people amidst all white people and get targeted seems like a great way to start talking about prevalent racism in our society. I also like how the main characters are mainly harassed via the internet, as cyber bullying is a very real problem that ends in a lot of lives lost, and the topic needs to have more attention brought to it.
