The premise sounds interesting, but it's not executed in a way that engages me. The writing style is just too out there on trying to be funny and relatable to teenagers. The social commentary is supposed to be a plus for this book, but it just deters me. It's too casual. I can see how it could create a strong atmosphere, but I'm not drawn to contemporary books to begin with, so this book just isn't for me.
