The book starts off strong immediately with a mysterious atmosphere. From the onset you know that the main characters don't know everything. I also love that it follows both Devon and Chiamaka's perspectives, especially knowing that Devon doesn't think well of Chiamaka. Finally, I love the set up of the clear class tension/divide within the walls of this prestige elite school.
