Ace of Spades is the story of two private prep-school students from different social strata poised to begin their senior year as Prefects. Devon, the less popular music geek is shocked to find out he won but Chiamaka, the popular girl, is a sure bet. Soon someone starts texting the whole school their secrets and it turns into Gossip Girl meets Mean Girls.
Overall, this came off as a little too young for me but would be great for a YA lover. The jacket is fairly interesting and does a good job drawing the reader in. Overall, I'd recommend for someone interested in modern YA stories with an awareness of social equality.
