My first impression of The Ace of Spades by Faridah Abike-Iyimide is that it seems like a different kind of high octane Young Adult book. The cover is immediately striking, although it would lead one to believe that maybe this has something to do with gambling, and I don't believe it does. I love a good thriller. This looks like a blast.
