If you like Six of Crows, I would highly recommend this book to you. It's a twist on Six of Crows with a female lead and vampires added to the mix. However, the actual heist does not take place until about 70% of the way through the book, so it was one of the slower burns I have read, which is why it was not a five star. I also felt like we were repeatedly reminded of the character's past and the "twist" of who the evil head of the government was lead to a bit of a disappointment. I wish the plot focused more on the heist and made it more elaborate. For the planning taking up around 30-40% of the plot, only have the execution take about 15% of the book was a let down.

This book was definitely young adult and the violence level was not very high, so if that is a concern. Also, the vampire aspect added just a layer when I wish that would have been explored more than just being a random flavor added in.
