Oh my goodness, once I started reading this I could not stop. With each new character that we met I became obsessed with knowing their backstory and what drove them. Faizal’s writing was intricate yet easy to follow and I appreciated how descriptive her world building was. I could easily picture White Roaring and Spindrift in my mind. I loved the multiple POVs. The slow burn romance… chef’s kiss… and it left me wanting more.
Faizal packed so much into 336 pages yet it flew by because I couldn't put it down. I loved how the characters developed throughout the story, each with their own twists and surprises. The last few chapters had my jaw wide open, on the ground, however you want to describe it! I need the second book in the duology NOW!
