I am not so much of a YA reader, however, I was interested in this novel because of the vampire/underground syndicate storyline. The characters were all well developed and I felt myself fearing for these characters in the high stress situations. I especially loved the love triangle like relationship that began to develop. My favorite thing to read about was the relationship between Jin and Flick. Flick was probably my favorite character as I felt she had the largest character arc by the end of the novel. The story is well written and fast paced. I never felt bored or like I was dozing off. The heist itself was rather short-lived for all of the buildup, but I think the twists and turns that came from this made up for it. There were things I would not have seen coming from the beginning. I do think that this would make a fun and interesting series if the author chose to do so. I have a friend who loves vampire-based books and I can't wait to give her a copy!
