You had me at vampires, but then added heist and betrayal. Our first introduction to Arthie is exquisite and nestled between wonderful scene setting descriptions that don't feel like too much or too little. It's just the right amount to let the reader picture themselves in the setting, walking down the street next to Arthie as well as setting up expectations for how the story could go. Also, I love good banter and this starts with some great banter that made me want more, but then I ran out of preview and found myself wishing the book was already available!
