First of all, I’m very excited that vampires are making a comeback. As someone who read Twilight as a tween- I’m very excited to read more about vampires as an adult.
Second of all, I’m so excited about the map at the beginning of the book. I love being able to know EXACTLY where the characters are going and (roughly) how long it will take them. Not to mention, the drawing and the illustration in the map is BEAUTIFUL.
Third of all, 12 pages in and already a bullet, twist, and blackmail! Crazy. I love the duality between the POVs, the sassy-ness of Arthie, the slight allusion to King Arthur with the revolver, and the idea that Matteo believes that this will be a love story for them…. Will it?
