I've tried several times to get this ARC, so I was thrilled to see a First Look on BookishFirst! A Tempest of Tea is absolutely incredible. Full of suspense, mystery, and absolutely beautifully storytelling, it's perfect for a YA audience and fans of Peaky Blinders and Six of Crows, with some vampires thrown in for extra fun. And the cover? Gorgeous, fits the story perfectly.
Hafsah Faizal has an incredible writing voice. The story flows so well, and you can't help but get completely sucked into the worldbuilding. Arthie is a loveable character, and I can't wait to read the rest of her story. Jin is probably my favorite though, I can't say no to a suave genius like him. I've already preordered this one, and it'll be at the top of my 2024 reading list for sure.
