I have seen this book EVERYWHERE on people's' most anticipated books of 2024 lists. I hadn't looked too much into it, but the preview was intriguing. It reminded me quite a lot of Six of Crows. The characters are moody, shady, and well created even in just the 20 pages or so that I read about them. This is also a new angle on the vampire trope. I'm intrigued to see how the rest of the story fleshes out and how it carves a unique storyline in the YA fantasy genre.
