I fell in love with the way she used language in her first duology. It was so beautifully crafted. From the glimpse I’ve gotten of this book, I am extremely happy to say that she did not disappoint. So many lines in the books have already struck my heart.
40 pages is not many to provide any insight to characters, but somehow she manages to provide thoughtful glimpses into who her characters are and build strong ties to the characters around them. I am on the edge of my seat to see what happens next.
Not to mention, the concept, the world, the system, all things I have not seem combined together to make a novel. I cannot wait to see how it all intertwines into a beautiful story.
