Holy smokes! The world building! The plot! The characters! Sign me up! This book starts off strong with map. I know, I know, a map is a strong start? But yes! It means the world building is about to be stellar, and I was not wrong! We are also introduced to a fierce heroine that doesn’t take any lip or threats from anybody, regardless of status. I love the gritty storyline; it’s dark and gritty and promises suspense and twists.
