I was given an early release copy of this book in exchange for my honest, unbiased review of this book. Thank you to the author and publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this book. I enjoyed reading this novel. I found myself rooting for Millie as she struggled to help pay for the in-home care she desperately needed for her grandmother that was kicked out of her nursing home. The story had so many details that I felt enhanced the story and made it feel real. My favorite aspect of the book was the treasure hunting. Also, being from the south myself, I loved how richly the author described the scenery of the island. The descriptions made me envision the picturesque views of the water.
