I'll admit I was already interested in the story when it was just about a granddaughter trying to figure out how her grandmother with dementia issues would be taken care of but then the whole plot twist of how grandma doesn't know her real father certainly grabbed my attention. I also want to find out how this relates to the last part of the excerpt with the two men who I assume are detectives.
