I was attracted to this book because of the coastal Georgia setting and by the cover. After reading the excerpt, I am interested in seeing how things will work out for Millie and her grandmother Joy. Hopefully, she will discover the identity of her great grandfather and be able to find a way to take care of her grandmother. Finances are tight and she really needs some help but having to deal with a loved one who doesn't know her has to be hard as well. It will be interesting to discover what is going on with Ben Thornton and his list of names. Who is Judith Tulley and how does she relate to Millie and Joy, if at all? I was left with lots of questions after reading this excerpt and look forward to reading the book.
