Shrouded in mystery- I need to keep reading!

I was not pulled in by the title or book cover at all. If anything, I would skip right over something like this. But I started reading and liked the easygoing writing style. At first I wasn't sure if the story would hold my interest but as Grandma Joy became lucid and started to reveal her secret I felt like I was starting a journey I had to continue on...
