Unfortunately, I didn't make it through this First Impression. The writing style is very off-putting to me. Millie's actions are described in very detailed, repetitive, and rather bizarre ways. I got through 10 pages and I think she "wrapped her arms around her middle" three times. And her "chin hitched"? What does that even mean? I thought the synopsis was really appealing, but I just don't think I'm going to continue this one. Not for me.
