This is a hard first look to make a decision about. It sounds interesting, it could be good but it's one of those first looks that the brevity of it really doesn't do anything to help me figure out if I want to read it or not. I have empathy for Millie, trying to make ends meet and take care of her ailing grandmother. I have a little trouble buying into the fact that with one conversation Millie begins a treasure hunt, but weirder things have happened. And Ben, what the heck is his angle, who is he hunting down? It's intriguing enough to want to read more to figure it out.
