I think the cover looks pretty good. This is going to seem like an odd thing to say, but it looks a lot like pretty typical christian books (Kingsbury and the like) and based on the bible verse that precedes the first chapter, this seems like a christian book.
The writing is easy to follow and this seems like a touching story that will likewise involve some elements of mystery.
