I liked Millie, although her situation with her failing grandma was sobering. I loved the whole scandalous secret/mystery revealed to Millie in one of her grandma's few lucid moments and wanted to see it unfold. I also felt the poignancy knowing that the mischievous and fun old lady would be lost to her failing mind at any moment, and Millie's need for her care.
