Usually I spend a few minutes reading a first look to decide whether or not I want it but in this case for this book I just made it all the way to the end of the excerpt without realizing it. I devoured that excerpt and I loved it! I want to read more of it right now at this moment. Especially with the parts about the grandmother, as a person that worked in the medical field I saw a lot of people struggling with this first hand and I liked the portrayal of the family member dealing with it. I really liked this first look.
