Aria was supposed to spend her last summer before I college traveling with her friends. But an incident happened that resulted in her getting uninvited. Now she’ll be spending the whole summer with her grandmother who is a famous artist. In this excerpt she meets her grandmother’s gardener Steph. Before she realizes Steph is a girl her first impression is that she’s a cute guy around her age. When she runs into Steph again, Steph warns her that Aria’s grandmother’s memory seems to be slipping.
