First time reader here for this author and she brings a heavy topic right out the gate. I’m intrigued by the synopsis and the bits we’ve gotten to, it’s not written where it’s telling more so you’re “in” it so you know the thoughts and feelings vs having them drawn out and questioned. Enjoy the main character as well so excited to see the journey from start to finish.
