I was first drawn by the beautiful cover, and only after did I realize it was by Malinda Lo. I loved last night at the telegraph club’s elegant writing style and imagery, and from the beginning of this book, I’ll feel the same way. These first few pages hooked me way faster than her first book, so I anticipate I’ll enjoy it just as much or even more.
