I have to say that the cover of this book is gorgeous, but that's where any interest ends. I often find myself wishing that the format of BookishFirst would be to offer one adult book and one kidlit book every week, because there are spans when it's just YA all the time. And that's not a category I want to read anymore, unless something about it really draws me in. This one did not--it feels like every other "coming of age" story out there right now.
