Immediately Enchanted With the Young Narrator's Story

When I first looked at the cover design, I did not feel an immediate urge to read this book. Boy, was I in for a surprise. As soon as I started reading I felt very interested in the overall plot as well as the charming, young first-person narrator. I loved the way she called her grandmother by her first name at an art show in order to act like she was one of the adults. There is plenty of realistic family tension to keep any reader engaged. Judging from the pages I've read so far, I am going to love this book.
