I enjoyed a couple of Lo's other books, so I was already interested in this one. At the start, I was drawn in wondering what caused her to be exiled to her grandma's house for the summer. Now I'm 100% in just because of my worry over grandma Joan. It was only 30 something pages but I'm ready to fight for grandma Joan.
