This excerpt was okay, but it just didn't grab my attention. The writing was very detailed, which paints a vivid picture for the reader, but sometimes it was so detailed that I lost interest. Furthermore, I'm not interested in some of the themes that seem like they're going to be relevant. Specifically, Aria's grandmother having memory issues and the incident that occurred between Aria and Jacob. Overall, I just don't think this is the right book for me right now.
