A queer coming of age story from a proven author

The cover of A Scatter of Light is gorgeous. I have heard nothing but good things about last Night at the Telegraph Club and so am expecting this book to be just as good. It sounds like a beautiful story about finding first love and coming of age. The writing is lyrical.
