This book pulled me in from the first chapter. The female leads Princesses Isdaora and Evalina are sisters and couldn't be more different. They're both strong in their own ways, and their magic is described in such a way that makes it easy to get lost in their story.
I was drawn to this book, because I feel there's a lack of diversity in the YA fantasy genre. I decided to give it a try in October to get in the Halloween mood and I was not disappointed!
I strongly suggest this book to anyone who loves YA fantasy and strong female characters. If you enjoy reading about competitive characters/rivals, you'll love it! Especially if you're interested in reading about sister relationships.
