I have been anticipating this book for a while now, I just had this feeling like this book would bring my love for fantasy back and just by reading the excerpt I can already tell it has. I love that the main characters are two strong black females. The whole concept of the book is undeniably intriguing. The author's writing is superb and clear. Last but certainly not least is the cover. The cover had me hooked from the get go. It is so beautifully illustrated. I absolutely love it and I'm so excited to read more.
