I admire the imagination it takes to write books of the fantasy genre even though this type of book is not my preference at all. I feel sorry for both Eva and Isa in this book. Because of tradition they are pitted against one another. One will live and one will die unless they break tradition somehow. Even though I wonder what will happen in the lives of these two sisters, it’s not enough to make me want to continue the book. I do think the author has done a good job of setting up a conflict and story many would enjoy.
