I don't usually read fantasy novels, but this one gripped me from the start. The thought of Eva and her sister, Isadore, having to fight each other to death for the right to be queen, is an odd premise but one that intrigues me. With only a couple of weeks left to live, Eva has been sneaking out of the palace to freedom from what is to come. I want this book so I can learn what is to come. I have a feeling that it will be unlike anything I can imagine!
