I wasn’t sure about this book in the first chapter, but I LOVE how it shows all three viewpoints (dad, mom, and daughter)! The book at its core is a story about how far you would go for your children. Would you lie for them? Kill for them? Cover up? It is such an ethical dilemma and as a parent made me question myself how far I would go to protect my children. The dad drove me crazy and I really didn’t like him but his story and the way he is is important to the storyline as a whole so I get that. But he was unlike able in my opinion for sure. I was pretty sure I knew the ending (which kind of ticked me off) but I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong! I would for sure recommend this book for anyone looking for a good family drama!
