Synopsis: This story is set in a Swedish city and dives deep in the secretes and complex dynamics of a small family amongst a murder trial.

Review: This is a slow burn thriller, it is not fast paced and the change of narrators, voices, and pacing is significant. I love that each character has its own reflections of history and no one can agree on the same version. I did find each of the narrators quite unlikable in their own ways but also found each one reliable to their truth. This book is unlike other thrillers and I'm excited to read what's next from M.T. Edvardsson. This story has you reflect, would you break your own ethical code of conduct to protect your child? How far would you go? This is ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me.
