A great courtroom thriller that I couldn't put down. I loved that this book was told in different perspective during, and it was interesting to see how each character viewed the events.
Stella is accused of the murder of a man that is 15 years older than her. Before the murder, her family was just a "normal family." Stella's parents are a pastor and a criminal defense attorney, and the story is told from each of their points of view along with Stella. The novel explores the questions of how well parents know their own children and to what lengths they would go to protect them.
There is a twist at the end and the story, and the book is a quick read that will keep you interested throughout.
