This is my opinion of the first look of the book and it looks amazing! I worked in the criminal justice field for 30 years and love to read books that are set in that field. Why does the teenager murder an older man? How do her parents cope with such a tragedy and deal with their own morals? How do they handle dealing with their daughters' situation and their own professional lives and colleagues? I would love to get my hands of this book! I think I would relate to the mom in trying to help her daughter and juggle home issues and the professional world.
The cover is amazing! Love the jagged, broken roof of the house implying things are all peachy keen within! And the girl riding the bike reminds me of me at that age.
