One seemingly ordinary day ends in a murder. It seems that teenage Stella is responsible. This was an intense thriller that had me changing my prediction every other page. A normal family goes to great lengths to protect their own. The end gave me major chills. I never could have imagined.
I enjoyed this as I read many thrillers and often times they are way too similar and predictable. Any book that can keep me guessing and prove me wrong in the end is always a win. I would have given 5 stars if it hadn’t seemed as though I’d dragged on a tiny bit. Otherwise, a great page turner in my book.
