This book roped me in from the very beginning. Stella is the daughter of a pastor and a lawyer and is a girl that is perfectly herself. When she is arrested for murder, her parents are at a loss. Her father wants only the best for her and is willing to lie as a witness to give her an alibi. Her mother has a little bit of a colder relationship with their daughter. The book is broken down into parts with the father, Stella, and the mother each offering their point of view which really makes this book a lot more suspenseful. Each family member has a unique take on Stella's past exploits and so it really interesting to see Stella offer up almost her whole side of things. I thought the ending was unexpected. The writing was really good and I will definitely read more from this author. This is a great voice to watch!
