This was a book I found randomly at the library knowing nothing about it but it sounded good so I got it. I then shortly after figures out how popular it was... The fact that I didn't know about it and picked it combined with the fact that it happened to be a book that was pretty hyped, I was so sure I would love this. And it wasn't bad, I just found the writing too slow for me. I really liked how it was split into the parts so you were able to see the situation through the eyes of all three main characters. There was excellent character development which def made me care about what happened to them, the story itself was unique and interesting and overall a a good plot, but even with all those positives every time I picked it up to read it, it felt like a chore. Which was hard because since I liked the story I couldn't just DNF it and move on. I honestly don't know what it was about the writing that never took hold, so I would still absolutely recommend this book, there were more goods than bads and the fact that I finished it even though it felt like a chore proves for me it was worth reading because I have no problem deciding not to finish books, I do it more often than not so all I ca say is the style of writing just wasn't my thing but everything else about this book was a really great read.
